North of Moremi and south of the Chobe River, lies the desert areas of Savuti that gradually makes way into the floodplain grasslands of the Chobe region. The Chobe National Park covers an area of 10698 km, making it the 3rd largest park in Botswana. This park hosts a wide variety of animals and especially in dry season, you have a vast concentration around the Chobe River at Ihaha. The contrast between the desert areas in the south west and the woodlands of the North, provides a backdrop in fauna and flora for the ultimate African Safari experience.
