SHARK CAGE DIVING
Cape Town - Gansbaai / Gansbay

Our day normally starts off with a light continental breakfast, after which we take payment, do a short briefing, and then head out to sea! Lunch, drinks and snacks are served on the boat, and after everyone has had a chance to get into the cage, we return back to land for some coffee, tea, hot chocolate and some biscuits.
You do not need any diving experience or qualifications!

SHARK CAGE DIVING - TRIP INFORMATION

Included:

  • Diving equipment, wetsuits, towels, etc
  • Breakfast, lunch, snacks on the boat

Excluded:

  • Transport

We offer a return transfer from designated pick-up points in Cape Town at R 300 per person extra or Hermanus at R 100 per person extra.

The Trip begins at 10: 00 am in the morning from Klein Bay, which is 2 km along the coast from the villiage gansbaai. Here you board our shark cruisre the Predator 2 for the 5 mile voyage to Dyer Island.
Trip

•   After dropping anchor, we all begin attracting Great Whites with a specially-formulated ‘Chum’ mixture, made from completely legal ingredients, which has taken Brian years to perfect, and is a highly-guarded trade secret. Sharks are seen on 99.9% of our trips!
•   Once the Great Whites arrive, you will have the opportunity to photograph these awe-inspiring animals feeding at the surface, right alongside the boat. If you got the guts...this is when you enter the cage!
•   We have a shuttle service from Cape Town & Hermanus to the launch site at Klein Bay if you need it.
•   It is recommended that you book well in advance and allow at least 2 days diving in case of adverse weather conditions. Passengers are exposed to the open sea while travelling to and from the islands. At the islands the boat is anchored off the lee sides and protected bays.
•   The boat leaves the docks at 10 in the morning, and returns at 3 in the afternoon.
